Advocacy

Advocacy updates are produced in response to crisis situations of human rights violations and conflicts which are monitored by WCC International Affairs, Peace & Human Security staff and on which the churches in the affected region have requested international solidarity. The updates provide background and analysis on the situation and the role of the churches, and, as appropriate, indicate opportunities to support peacemaking initiatives and engage in joint advocacy with churches and partners in the region.

Advocacy Updates are distributed by e-mail as well as made available on the Web. To receive updates by e-mail, contact WCC International Affairs, Peace & Human Security
